Inside the Factory: How Wax Print Is Made Today
Place these four stages in the correct order: Over-printing | Wax application | Dyeing | Cloth preparation
1 — Cloth preparation (scour, bleach, mercerising) → 2 — Wax application (copper rollers, both sides) → 3 — Dyeing (dye bath, wax resists colour) → 4 — Over-printing (additional colours, then washed and wound into bolts). Wax removal happens between dyeing and over-printing as stage four.
