The two core techniques are eleko (starch-resist paste) and oniko (tying and binding). Eleko tools include palm mid-rib, foam brush, feather, or comb (any one is correct). Indigo works through reduction chemistry in a low-oxygen environment. One oniko method: gathering and tying produces spots; pleating and folding produces stripes or chevrons; object-wrapping produces textured dot clusters (any one pairing is correct).
